SCAM
SLAM 2nd Annual
Cocktails, conversation, networking and fraud education — one night supporting SAFE Net’s work across Southwest Louisiana.
THE MISSION BEHIND THE NIGHT
One event. Work that continues.
SAFE Net is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on scam awareness, fraud education, victim guidance, prevention and community outreach across Southwest Louisiana. Scam Slam brings that mission into one room — and helps support the work beyond the event.
WHAT THE ROOM FEELS LIKE
Not a lecture.
A conversation.

EVENT DETAILS
You do not have to work in fraud investigations to belong in the room. Come for the event, meet people who deal with scams from different sides, ask questions and leave with better information.
FUNDRAISING RAFFLE
One ticket. Two bourbon prizes.
Raffle prizes include Blanton’s Gold and Weller Full Proof. Every paid admission receives one raffle ticket, and additional chances are available during the event.
21+ to redeem any alcohol prize. You do not have to be present at the drawing to win. Each raffle ticket represents one chance to win. Winner eligibility is subject to applicable event and raffle rules.
Can you find the Alphabet Scammer?
Case File 09 is a fictional SAFE Net investigation challenge built around clues, metadata and open-source research. Find the scammer’s real name, then determine where he lives.
Last year,
in the room.
Scam Slam works because the room is mixed: investigators, financial professionals, public servants, community partners and people who simply want to understand fraud better.
