WHY SCAM SLAM EXISTS

Scam Slam brings investigators, prosecutors, financial institutions, cybersecurity professionals, community partners, public officials, caregivers, and the public into the same room.
The goal is simple: talk about what scammers are doing, what actually works in investigations, and what people can do before the damage gets worse.
SAFE Net is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on scam awareness, fraud education, victim guidance, prevention, and community outreach across Southwest Louisiana.
Hear what happened, how it was investigated, and what people should watch for.

Every paid admission receives one raffle ticket. Additional tickets are $1 each at the event. If you want 15 or more, an online raffle bundle is available before the event.

CASE FILE 09: THE ALPHABET SCAMMER.
A fictional SAFE Net investigation challenge built for people who like clues, metadata, open-source research, and figuring out what everyone else missed.
Find the scammer's real name. Find where he lives. The case can be played now and is separate from the raffle drawing.

Scam Slam works because the room is mixed: investigators, financial professionals, public servants, community partners, and people who simply want to understand fraud better.
